This is just one of our many trips to the dog park. This particular park opened a few months ago. I only take Brutus inside when few or no dogs are in there. My dog has some arthritis in his front leg and I don’t need the other dogs jumping on him.

Last Saturday I took a drive out to Elk Grove Park. A canine walk to cure cancer was taking place there. www.caninek.org raised $18k+ for canine cancer research!
I shot a few photos from across the pond as they made their way around. I didn’t take my Bulldog out there because he doesn’t walk well on a leash. He tends to lay down in the grass and not budge. LOL
I used to live here back in 1976-1980. My Dad was stationed here while he was enlisted in the Air Force. We had alot of great times there. It went by so quickly. Going to the beach almost every weekend wasn’t that great. Most of the time we went to Bellows Beach on the east side of Oahu. A few other times we went to a beach located near the west end of the Honolulu Int. Airport runway. We watched all the planes taxi out to take off.
Someday I’ll go back. I would love to live there again, but the cost of living is higher than in California. I’m sure I would be able to get a job and some roommates, then life will be great!
